I have ordered B16A3. The engine came out of 94 Delsol VTEC it had 52,000 miles on it. Import Auto Salvage is the shop that I am dealing with. They have given me a really good deal on it. Visit their website at Import Auto Salvage If you happen to call them ask for Rally Jr. He is a very nice and knowledgeable man to talk to.
My engine has arrived to the shop "Shear Performance" We did a pressure test on it and the result was pretty good, 125 all across. That means the engine is in a good condition. So I am happy about it. The engine came in very clean because at Import Auto Salvage clean it before shipping.
September - October
I have found many problems in doing this swap such as OBD1 and OBD2 thing so the Mechanic at Shear Performance doesn't know how to do it. But he just keep saying that he can do it. So I decide to have faith in him for couple more weeks. 2 more weeks later he still couldn't figure out how to do it. So I decide to tow my car to Fast Enough Performance.
October - November
My car is done after a Month at Fast Enough Performance. They have to recreate wiring harness for my car to use with this new engine. It's a lot of work and money but I think it worth the wait. Right now my car is running much faster. I can start kicking butt now hehe :)
Motor swap tip:"Trust nobody that they THINK they can do it. Make sure that you have seen they've done it before."
