into the intake manifold after the throttle body, your stock intake
manifold can become a performance bottle neck and may not allow your car
to "breath" properly.

Custom intake manifolds have always been
used by professional drag racers. When a cylinder head outflows the stock
intake manifold, the manifold needs to be replaced or modified to provide
the cylinder head with the proper amount of CFM's (cubic feet of air per
minute).
