SAM: We at Hooker Headers started looking into developing a line of Import Headers about 2 years ago, but actually started design about 10 months ago. We wanted to make sure that the Import Performance market was more than just a fad. We have since seen that this form of motor sport is here to stay and have seen how it has grown. True our roots our in Muscle cars, but we realize that there is a great opportunity to achieve the same success in the Import Market that we have achieved in the with our domestic lines. Hooker has long held the Title of the "Most wins in NHRA history" (as a exhaust and Header co.) and we hope to continue that into this new market.

Vince: I hope this works out for you! The import scene has really exploded over the years and it would be a big boost to claim the "most wins" title in it as well. How do you plan on constructing you headers? What material will you use and why?

SAM: Our line of Import Headers will be made from 16 gauge steel tubing (coated and non coated) As to why we choose this route , we wanted the same durability and performance that the public has come to expect from Hooker Headers in the past.

Vince: When designing the headers, what steps have you taken to ensure that they will be the best for each model car, taking full advantage of each cars unique power band?
